About 49.35 percent voter turnout was recorded in Mustang district by 1:15 p.m. during Nepal’s House of Representatives election, with 5,591 votes cast, according to election officials.

Notable voter turnout has been recorded in Mustang district in Nepal’s ongoing House of Representatives election. According to the District Election Office, about 49.35 percent voter turnout had been recorded as of 1:15 p.m.

Lokendra Gyawali, chief of the District Election Office Mustang, said that 5,591 votes had been cast across the district by that time. He said voter participation has been encouraging and that the number of voters arriving at polling stations has continued to increase.

According to data provided by the election office, 2,817 men, 2,773 women, and one other voter have exercised their voting rights so far. The Office of the Chief Election Officer said the voting process has been taking place peacefully across the district, with voters continuing to arrive at polling stations to cast their ballots.
