Lauro Campaign Demands Return of Election Symbol to Independent Group

The Lauro Campaign has called for the Lauro election symbol to be returned to independent candidates, stating that the symbol represents political independence and should not be associated with any party or individual.

Kathmandu — The Lauro Campaign has demanded the safe return of the Lauro election symbol to the independent group, stating that the symbol should not remain under the control of any individual or political party. The demand was made during a press conference held in Kathmandu on Thursday.

Campaign activist Dambar Sah said that after Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Balendra Shah joined the Rastriya Swatantra Party, the Lauro election symbol can no longer belong to him or his group. According to Sah, the Lauro symbol represents independent candidates and independent political identity.

He called on Balendra Shah and his team to return the Lauro election symbol to the independent group in a safe, dignified, and official manner. Sah emphasized that the Lauro symbol does not belong to any individual, group, or faction, but stands as a symbol of independent political representation.
