Gorkha — Kavindra Burlakoti of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has been elected to the House of Representatives from Gorkha Constituency No. 2, according to the final vote count. Burlakoti secured 26,660 votes in the parliamentary election.
His nearest rival from the Nepali Congress received 11,700 votes. The final results show that Burlakoti won the election by a margin of 14,960 votes. With the announcement of the final vote count, Kavindra Burlakoti has officially been elected as the Member of the House of Representatives from Gorkha-2.
