Rupandehi, Nepal — The Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal has completed the process of recommending potential candidates for all five House of Representatives constituencies in Rupandehi district ahead of the parliamentary election scheduled for February 21.
Siyaram Yadav, chair of JSP-Nepal’s Rupandehi district committee, said the recommendations were made as part of the party’s election preparations and have been forwarded for further consideration.
According to Yadav, the party has proposed Mohammad Aslam Khan, Chandrabhan Tiwari, and Kancha Kohar from Constituency No. 1, while Deepak Gurung has been recommended from Constituency No. 2.
From Constituency No. 3, the recommended names include Kailash Gurung, Neelam Yadav, and Siyaram Yadav. Ramavatar Yadav has been proposed as the party’s candidate from Constituency No. 4.
For Constituency No. 5, the district committee has forwarded the names of Mohammad Wahid Fakir, Nidhilal Kewat, Govind Kohar, and Rajkumar Lodha. Party officials said the recommendations will now be reviewed by the central leadership, which will take the final decision on candidate selection.
