Ilam-1 Vote Count: Nepali Congress’ Nishkal Rai Leads With 11,165 Votes in Tight Three-Way Race

Nepali Congress candidate Nishkal Rai leads the vote count in Ilam-1 with 11,165 votes, followed closely by Labour Culture Party’s Vinod Nembang and CPN-UML’s Kajiman Kagate.

Vote counting in Ilam Constituency No. 1 remains highly competitive as candidates from three major political parties continue to compete closely in the parliamentary election. According to the latest vote count update as of 9:00 a.m. Monday, Nepali Congress candidate Nishkal Rai is currently leading the race with 11,165 votes.

Vinod Nembang of the Labour Culture Party, led by Harka Sampang, is in second place with 10,825 votes, narrowing the gap with the leading candidate. The difference between Nishkal Rai and Vinod Nembang currently stands at 340 votes, indicating a tight contest in Ilam-1.

CPN-UML candidate Kajiman Kagate, who initially led the vote count earlier, has now moved to third place after receiving 10,237 votes. Based on the latest tally, Kagate is 588 votes behind Vinod Nembang and 928 votes behind Nishkal Rai as vote counting in Ilam-1 continues.
