Nepali Congress President Gagan Thapa has said that the government must make proper arrangements for the treatment of those injured in the bus accident in Baitadi. Thapa stated that it is the government’s responsibility to ensure medical treatment for the injured victims.
“I am deeply saddened by the news of the untimely death of 13 people in the bus accident that occurred in Purchaudi Municipality of Baitadi. The unimaginable loss of family members who were returning from a wedding celebration has left me shocked,” Thapa said in a statement issued today.
“At this painful moment, I extend my heartfelt tributes to the deceased and pray for eternal peace for their souls. On behalf of the party and myself, I express deep condolences to the bereaved families. I also wish the injured a speedy recovery and urge the government to make proper arrangements for their treatment,” the statement said.
