Kathmandu — The Election Commission of Nepal will hold a press conference at 6:15 p.m. today to provide updates on the ongoing House of Representatives election.

According to the commission, the press conference will take place at the Election Commission’s Media Center hall. Officials are expected to brief the media on the voting process, voter participation, and the overall election situation.

Voting across Nepal began at 7:00 a.m. and continued until 5:00 p.m., allowing eligible voters nationwide to cast their ballots in the parliamentary election.

The Election Commission said that voter turnout had reached approximately 33 percent nationwide as of 2:00 p.m. More detailed information is expected to be released after the voting process concludes.
