CPN-UML has established a three-member committee to prepare a new party regulation in line with amendments approved by the party’s recent conventions.

CPN-UML has formed a three-member committee to draft a new party regulation based on amendments made to its statute. The decision follows revisions adopted during the party’s Second Statute Convention and the 11th National General Convention.

The committee was formed by the party’s second Secretariat meeting and is led by party Secretary Bhanu Bhakta Dhakal. Central Committee members Ramesh Badal and Madhav Dhungel have been included as members.

According to party sources, the committee has been assigned to prepare the draft regulation in line with the amended statute, focusing on organizational structure, internal procedures, and operational guidelines.

Once the draft is completed, it will be submitted to the relevant party bodies for discussion and approval. Party leaders say updating the regulation in accordance with the revised statute is necessary to ensure clarity within the organization and strengthen its internal functioning.
