Balen Shah Casts Vote at Kathmandu Polling Center During House of Representatives Election

Rastriya Swatantra Party senior leader Balen Shah cast his vote at the Annapurna School polling center in Tinkune, Kathmandu, during Nepal’s House of Representatives election.

Kathmandu — Senior leader of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), Balendra (Balen) Shah, cast his vote in the ongoing House of Representatives election from a polling center in Kathmandu on Thursday morning.

Shah exercised his voting right at the polling station set up at Annapurna School in Tinkune, Kathmandu. Although Shah is contesting the House of Representatives election from Jhapa Constituency-5, he is registered as a voter in Kathmandu and therefore cast his ballot in the capital.

Voting for members of Nepal’s House of Representatives is taking place across the country, with leaders from various political parties visiting their respective polling centers to participate in the election. The Election Commission said the voting process is being conducted in a peaceful and orderly manner.
